Cobb Plans To Run Entire NNS Season

Jennifer Jo Cobb has purchased trucks from Circle Bar Racing and will attempt to run the entire 2010 Camping World Truck Series schedule and vie for rookie-of-the-year honors.

The 36-year-old driver, who has four career starts in the series, will have the points from the No. 10 Circle Bar entry driven last year by James Buescher and will be locked in for the first four races of 2010.

The team, which has yet to name a full-time crew chief, will have Roush-Yates engines. Rudy Prickler is the interim crew chief. The team has an alliance with Mike Harmon Racing.

“We have proven trucks that have raced up front, and I can now focus on racing instead of just qualifying,” Cobb said. “I think that’s why I’m so excited. I finally have the best opportunity to develop my abilities. … I believe that I’m ready. I work hard to keep in great physical shape and have a ton of determination and focus for this season.”

Cobb plans to put her fashion lines, Driver Boutique and Driven for Men, on the truck, but she also is looking for sponsorship.
