Alexander Tabbed By TNT As NASCAR Announcer

TNT announced that Adam Alexander has been hired to provide play-by-play for the six NASCAR races that the network will cover during the summer.

He will replace Bill Weber, who didn’t call the final three races of TNT’s coverage last season; currently, he is a reporter for SPEED and has also worked as a play-by-play announcer for Motor Racing Network and will work with analysts Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach on the SPEED side.

TNT also announced that Lindsay Czarnik will host its pre-race show and will also host TNT and NASCAR.com’s post-race coverage and give mid-race updates and reports.
