Eight Sprint Cup regulars will skip their weekend off to compete in the Nationwide Series race Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway.

There are 47 entries in the Nashville 300, including the three drivers – Penske Racing’s Brad Keselowski and Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards and Paul Menard – who are competing for the title in both series.

Other full-time Cup drivers on the entry list are Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch and Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick Inc.’s Kevin Harvick, Key Motorsports’ Mike Bliss and Nemco Motorsports’ Joe Nemechek.

Among drivers in full-time cars that are using a variety of drivers this year are Scott Wimmer (JR Motorsports), Mikey Kile (Braun Racing), Robert Richardson Jr. (R3 Motorsports), Johnny Sauter (Baker Curb Racing) and Reed Sorenson (Braun Racing).

There are six drivers attempting to compete in both the Truck Series and Nationwide events this weekend at Nashville: Busch (JGR for Nationwide, Kyle Busch Motorsports in truck), Keselowski (Penske in Nationwide, Brad Keselowski Racing in truck), Sauter (Baker Curb in Nationwide, ThorSport Racing in truck), Steve Wallace (Rusty Wallace Racing in Nationwide, Billy Ballew Motorsports in truck), Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc. in both), and James Buescher (Phoenix Racing in Nationwide, Turner Motorsports in truck).
